LIfBi appears at 6th Conference for Social and Economic Data (KSWD)

2/25/2014
On February 20 and 21, 2014, the Leibniz Institute for Educational Trajectories (LIfBi) made an appearance at the Sixth Conference for Social and Economic Data (Konferenz für Sozial- und Wirtschaftsdaten, KSWD) in Berlin.
At this year’s conference, interested scientists had the opportunity to inform themselves in detail about the National Educational Panel Study. Prof. Dr. Hans-Günther Roßbach (LIfBi) and Dr. Jutta von Maurice (LIfBi) presented the design and first results from the National Educational Panel Study in a panel which also featured results from PISA, PIAAC, and the comparative studies of the German Federal States by IQB. The poster presentation by Manfred Antoni (IAB), Basha Vicari (IAB), and Daniel Bela (LIfBi) focused on analyses concerning interviewer effects regarding the NEPS adult cohort. Eventually, interested researchers had the opportunity to learn more about the data offered by the LIfBi Research Data Center at a convention booth supervised by Daniel Bela.

The LIfBi would like to congratulate all scientists on being voted into the German Data Forum (RatSWD) at the KSWD—especially Prof. Dr. Cordula Artelt, Prof. Dr. Monika Jungbauer-Gans, and Prof. Dr. Kai Maaz, who are specifically involved with the NEPS Consortium.
