This funding area comprises 15 research projects that are approaching the end of their funding period and deal with the transition from children's day-care center to elementary school. As part of their poster presentation, Dr. Michaela Sixt and Stefanie Buchner introduced the concept and design of the NEPS and gave a brief overview of the Kindergarten cohort in particular. This cohort can be used by research projects from the funding area to validate their own data and results with the representative NEPS cohort.
